Kestrel ABA ("Kestrel", "we") monitors publicly published health-insurance payer documents (manuals, fee schedules, bulletins) and surfaces changes and answers relevant to Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) billing. Kestrel is an informational tool for professionals.
Kestrel summarizes and cites payer-published materials, but payers control their own policies and may change or contradict them at any time. Kestrel is not a substitute for the payer's official documents, for verification with the payer, or for professional legal or billing advice. You are responsible for claims you submit. Always verify a rule with the payer before acting on it.
Kestrel Pro is a monthly auto-renewing subscription purchased through your Apple ID, with a free trial for new subscribers. Payment is charged to your Apple ID at confirmation of purchase (after any free trial). Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period; manage or cancel anytime in your device Settings › Apple ID › Subscriptions. Billing, refunds, and cancellation are handled by Apple.
You need an account to use the service. Keep your account to yourself and don't abuse the service (no scraping our systems, reselling access, or attempting to disrupt them). Never enter client or patient information — Kestrel is designed to hold zero protected health information, and questions containing patient details are blocked, not stored.
You can delete your account any time in the app (Profile › Delete account). Deletion removes your account, watchlist, and question history from our systems. Cancel your subscription in Apple Settings separately — deleting the account does not cancel Apple billing.
The service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Kestrel is not liable for claim denials, audit findings, lost revenue, or other damages arising from use of the service. Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid for the service in the twelve months before the claim.
We may update these terms; material changes will be reflected on this page with a new "last updated" date. Continued use after changes is acceptance.
